Organic is a project I have been working on for my Physical Computing class. The art behind it imitates the shape of honeycombs with the movement of fire. I had to make a project that looked organic and had lights move in an organic way, it was inspired by real life projects such as, the japan's nose cone 500 series Shinkansen bullet train, which imitated a kingfishers beak, because the engineer wanted to make the train super fast, however, every time the train went into a tunnel it would make a really loud sound because it was so big at the front and very close to the tunnel's walls.Therefore, he designed the train to have the shape of a kingfishers beak at the front because it was so thin that it went in the tunnel smoothly without make a hard impact and creating loud sonic booms.
